have you been experiencing growing pains lately? or are your children in the midst of a developmental leap or grow spurt that is causing your head to spin? lots of people are feeling discouraged right now but the oddly ironic thing you can know for sure even if it's so hard to remember in the moment feeling discouraged is how we learn is part of the growth process a key to life we just don't want to stay there too long what's hardest about our challenges in life is not actually our challenges themselves but the societal message around our struggles that say: if we're struggling we're doing something wrong we're somehow lacking what other people have this 100% couldn't be further from the truth it's down-right WRONG here is the TRUTH 100% brain science approved: (and based on the research of standford university's carol dweck) if you're struggling you're growing which is the #1 goal of life because it's how you evolve as a person + how we evolve as the human species in a growth mindset you believe in the power of your learning your struggles motivate you to learn more become more fully you you embrace the process journey of self exploration because you trust in yourself beyond belief you know you're a good person and you have faith in the power of you to be the person you're here to be your struggles don't change from the outside but rather you change your struggles from the inside because you let go of self- doubt judgement criticism that's what's holding us all back the struggle is real but the real struggle is the one each of us faces within if you're trying to change remember you already are doing the work you're on your way if you haven't reached your goals or full potential it's not because there's something wrong with it's just time to let go of the inner belief that something is wrong with you you're doing exactly what you're supposed to be doing you're learning you're growing you haven't reached your goals yet you haven't mastered your life yet you're not fully getting how to live this positive parenting thing yet You're already on your way.

Mama Megan
Hi friends, I write from the heart to tell my life story, and the story of those in my neighborhood called life. Research shows that our children's emotional & mental health is contingent upon us parents being able to tell our life story, or "coherent narrative." This is my coherent narrative, my life story in the making, with some of what I love in life too. My goal is to share my life in a way that is real, uplifting & positive- sometimes serious, sometimes fun. In my practice, I inspire parents to empowerment through reclaiming our life stories and learning respectful discipline. My work is my offering to our children- our future. Wishing you all a happy family! Archives
