it all started
with my mom who was a fun combo of an artist, chess-playing, outdoorsy, 3rd grade teacher who loved to teach science + art equally - and who would jump into the coldest lake water in any upstate NY June she loved to get messy + create art with kids whether it was paper mache, paint, clay, or just some crayons even growing up with an artsy mom i hadn't ever really though of myself as an artist or an art teacher - except recently now i know 100% for sure
everyone
on planet earth is an artist should they choose everyone has something within them to express to take the amazingly-wonderful mundane + extremely-challenging of our existence and turn it into art to make your life + your home more beautiful to hang art you + your children created on a wall front door or put it on your kitchen table like this leaf vase candle holder my son and i made one fall 5 years ago
life puts us
exactly where we need to be i've gotten to share the love of art my mom instilled in me with my own son and become a community art teacher thru our libraries so my mom who passed away her love of family art her legacy lives on
as we head into
late Octover where joy is found in blue skies crisp air, and gah, those leaves! the season of apples + pumpkins soups with a little spice cozy sweaters and our fav boots + books as we prepare for all hallow's eve and the day of thanks we celebrate the fall season we come into balance

Mama Megan
Hi friends, I write from the heart to tell my life story, and the story of those in my neighborhood called life. Research shows that our children's emotional & mental health is contingent upon us parents being able to tell our life story, or "coherent narrative." This is my coherent narrative, my life story in the making, with some of what I love in life too. My goal is to share my life in a way that is real, uplifting & positive- sometimes serious, sometimes fun. In my practice, I inspire parents to empowerment through reclaiming our life stories and learning respectful discipline. My work is my offering to our children- our future. Wishing you all a happy family! Archives
