how i take care of me -----------> my happiness?
owning my life like that scary thought my eyes wet i told Dawn it’s hard for me to write down my minimums my basic needs or even think of them because How in the world would I ever make all that needs to happen for me, happen in a day? what i was really saying was: i don’t know how to take care of me questioning deep within whether i was worthy of happiness so that’s where I was at for a couple months those @$%#* minimums they haunted me not with a feeling of doom but of what was changing within and my resistance to change amazingly wonderful thing is positive change happens inner change changing our lives takes time i know now what i need to tick…. as the highest version of me possible in this moment ….and I know it’s possible to make that happen to give myself what I need to be happy not sayin’ I won’t have bad days or forget or feel like i don't have time but my baseline foundation way of being from the inside out is one of personal happiness i did it! i found my minimums and i’m making them happen to make happiness happen and you can make happiness happen for you too! I look forward to sharing my minimums- and Dawn's minimums- with you tomorrow during this week in Self-Worth. Heart-felt thanks to Dawn for being my wise guide on the journey to my happy life. Mama Megan
Hi friends, I write from the heart to tell my life story, and the story of those in my neighborhood called life. Research shows that our children's emotional & mental health is contingent upon us parents being able to tell our life story, or "coherent narrative." This is my coherent narrative, my life story in the making, with some of what I love in life too. My goal is to share my life in a way that is real, uplifting & positive- sometimes serious, sometimes fun. In my practice, I inspire parents to empowerment through reclaiming our life stories and learning respectful discipline. My work is my offering to our children- our future. Wishing you all a happy family! Archives
