at least that's how i would explain my week in the life this week held many stories + lessons one story from this week i would sum up with cloth diapers + nursing tanks on saturday i hosted a clothing swap for mamas + babies at zenana which is a great joy and i did it i finally let go of the organic cotton cloth diapers + nursing tanks i've been holding on to for 9 years i let go of having another baby it goes by so quick i know the days are long the years are short + parenting is so gloriously hard but i always wanted one more one more baby so i sobbed all the way home from zenana with joy in my heart because i saw a mom of 6 pick up my baby things because i know by not having any more babies i can be a universal mom to all the babies out there young + old i can be the mom we might have never had to all the moms too i can appreciate love the child i am blessed to have with my whole heart + soul and all the children in my world sometimes lessons come in unexpected places + unexpected ways like diapers + nursing bras but that's life What's your story - your lesson - from this week in the life of you? Mama Megan
Hi friends, I write from the heart to tell my life story, and the story of those in my neighborhood called life. Research shows that our children's emotional & mental health is contingent upon us parents being able to tell our life story, or "coherent narrative." This is my coherent narrative, my life story in the making, with some of what I love in life too. My goal is to share my life in a way that is real, uplifting & positive- sometimes serious, sometimes fun. In my practice, I inspire parents to empowerment through reclaiming our life stories and learning respectful discipline. My work is my offering to our children- our future. Wishing you all a happy family! Archives
